A.P.C

Wonderwall has unveiled pictures behind the work they recently did for the renovation of Tokyo's APC Daikanyama Homme. The reason behind Wonderwall's success is perhaps its consistently innovative architectural designs. The raw unfinished fixtures are balanced with the light hardwood floors providing a pleasant shopping experience. Each room provides a different theme and story with the gateway to the store coming in the form of a garden.

Dover Street Market X Fred Perry

Hot Hot Hot Item.. I want them all

English football is best

The 23-year-old joined the Reds this summer in a £20million-plus transfer from Atletico Madrid, and has scored 12 goals in 20 appearances.

Asked to compare his new surroundings with the Spanish game, he told his club's official website: "I would say football in England is better. It is more attractive than football in Spain, I would say, and certainly faster.

"It's more physical. The progress of the game is slower and there are a lot more fouls in Spain. The football here is more dynamic and it is more fun for the team and the individuals."

Torres has certainly been scoring for fun and appears to have adapted quickly to the pace of the Premier League, something he puts down to all the support he has received from his team-mates, on and off the pitch.

"Strikers only really score goals because of the efforts of their team-mates," the Spain forward added.

"So far, I've been scoring pretty much a goal a game and I feel very lucky and happy with that. It's in a large way down to the very good team-mates I have.

"At Liverpool, we always play with a high tempo and with a good rhythm, so that helps."

Torres insists his English is coming along but admits he still needs the help of his Spanish-speaking colleagues.

"I had to get Pepe Reina round because the house alarm was going off all the time. He came round to speak to the technician because I couldn't understand a word he was saying," said Torres.

Santa's Ghetto

Santa's Ghetto normally displays their annual showcase on Oxford St, London, this year they have moved the low concept art event to Bethlehem (opposite the Church of the Nativity), just one mile behind the security wall. The list of exhibiting artists is extensive, from Banksy and Bast to Swoon, Antony Micallef and Ron English.

Capello the next England Manager

Well seen like Capello is the man on the job, i don;t know if i m happy or not , i mean the guy is good n everything, but do we not have any good English manager in England? As alot of people have been sayin forgine investor have damage English football, i think there r some turth in it, coz forgine investor don;t really care about England n the history of the club, they r just here to make money , coz England league is the richest in the world, in order to make money they will have to spend on talent n on different national player to attract people from different plart of the world to watch. Look at our top 4 club , Liverpool , ManU , Arsenal and Chelsea, how many English player r in the club , n None of the manager are English, well beside Ferguson but he is Scottish, so in a long term English league is the one whos goin to suffer, how many home growth talent have came out inthe past 3 yrs?
i don;t think there are much, with every big club goin all over the world scouting for young talent , n i do mean all over the world. England have already suffer coz of that..by not qualifying to next year Euro.
Back to Capello, who help Real Madrid, AC Milan and Juventus won their league title, will be great lookin at the record, but he have never work in England b4, the way we play our football is nth like Spain or Italy, then again i may be wrong , he may be able to pull it off, who know may bring us a World Cup, but another problem comes to my mind, paying him £6.5million a year? thats crazy, u r payin someone who u never seen him work in England b4 6.5million, what if it doesn;t work out ? and he refuse to quit , are the FA goin to pay another huge amount of compensation??
Now lets hope he does a great job, and will be able to change English football for the better , as he has said.

What's fun?

As a shoes designer, i have been involve with some fashion design too, and i love it , but when your idea doesn;t goes with the idea of the person u r doin it for, well its very stressful . I usually assist the Acupuncture own designer when it come to designing cloths , and usually idea will be flyin all over the places, but what stressful is the person we r designing it for, have different idea, as Acupuncture design should be fun. loud and fashionable, but that person idea of acupuncture cloths are cheap , ugly n sad.
Luckily the brand use to belong to the designer , so we can still do something fun .
Anyway i saw this set of pic , and this is what fun fashion should be .

No Sleep

David Blaine is planning his latest stunt - to break the word record for staying awake the longest.

The previous world record is 11 1/2 days.

Explains Blaine of his latest endurance stunt:

“It’s been tried before. In 1959, Peter Tripp stayed awake eight days, but it resulted in permanent brain damage. In 1964, 17-year-old Randy Gardner did it for a high school science project. He lasted 11½ days but recovered fully. No damage. A guy in London tried but fell short. Another did 19 hours but slept two hours each night, so that doesn’t count. Also he was seated in a rocking chair. If I do this thing, which you claim I’m doing, I’ll do it on my feet. Standing up.

After 36 hours of sleep deprivation it’s like being drunk, 72 hours and paranoia sets in, Day Four the mind goes into hallucinations and you’re dreaming while awake. The problem is there’s no way to know how to offset brain damage or to train for this because there isn’t sufficient research. I believe the first guy’s mistake was not being in great physical condition. Also he used stimulants to keep awake, which I assume did him in.

All that I do will be open and documented. My income’s going to the Brooke Medical Center, which helps kids, and my research to science. For instance, we already know dietary restriction is a retardation of aging and disease. When you overeat your body must work and it gets tired. If I eat medicinally, my body will be entire.

I’m dropping 30 pounds. I do two hours every day on the treadmill. I’m on a raw diet that includes brown rice. No red meat. No animal products besides cooked fish.”

He is getting freakyer n freakyer, what will he do next ?
Break the word record for not shitting the longest?

Santa's Ghetto

In what they’re claiming is the most “low-concept art event ever”, Banksy and a few friends have set up their annual Christmas shoppe in one of the more unlikely places around the world. Of course, it wouldn’t be Banksy or anyone like-minded if that place didn’t make a statement. So this year, they’ve chosen Bethlehem and titled the project Santa’s Ghetto. This places their new shoppe in an area surrounded on three sides by a massive security wall.

Their point is simply to cast further attention toward the Palestinian conflict, especially during a time of year when most people are out spending a ton of money on themselves. All of the proceeds from the project will go directly toward helping people in need in the area. And, of course, there’s some killer artwork coming out of the project as well. Have a look at some more photos and keep an eye out for the online shop to open here.

The Napkin Notebook

Some of the biggest ideas in the world started as a little sketch on a cocktail napkin; Picasso’s earliest sketch of Guernica, the design for Bilbao Museum, the business plan for Southwest Airlines, to name a few. With this nifty notebook made of, well, napkins, you’ve got room for twenty paradigm-shattering ideas, plus a handsome metal binding. Available exclusively through the Moma Store, this puppy designed by advertising agency Euro RSCG is the perfect gift for anyone who ever had an idea good enough to write down.

Miss World

Miss China is this year Miss World .... WHAT !!! as little Britain will say...

Pock it

The Post-it note has been helping us remember what we’ve forgotten for 20 years now, but the latest development that could potentially change the way we use them comes not from 3M, but from a young industrial design student living in London. The Pock It, a concept of Pu Tai, is a sticky note that puts adhesive on three sides instead of just one, making a perfect small envelope to store the little things you need to get out the door stress-free. The best thing about it is, much like a Post-it, you can stick Pock its anywhere. Doors, computers, your child’s forehead; anything’s fair game. I personally wish the Pock It was about five times bigger (I need big pockets to hold the things I normally forget, things like wallets and car keys) but maybe someday…

Bootcamp

This look like a cool mag don;t know if i can get it in HONG KONG..
I come to recognise i m into alot of stuff, but don;t think i m a master in one thing, n if u ask me "boil down to one think you r really interested in , or m really gd at", i don;t think i can have the answer, sometime i think its gd to like some many thing, art, music, fashion, sport, cooking etc....but its sad to know that when it come to in deep detail, i don;t really have one, not sure what i m talkin about ? ok, put those interest into % , most people may have 70% of knowledge in one thing, n 30% on the other stuffs, but me i m like 10%-20% on everything.
One thing i really need to improve is to know how to approch people, i m a very shy person when come to meeting new friends , which may come across to be rude to some people, coz i don;t really talk n don't really look at people, which is nothing like my real self(toward my friend), coz i m abit silly abit crazy n childish.
I can never make up my mind on anything, sometime i wanted this n sometime i wanted that. . God um... no idea y i m typing this, um..wired ... don;t think anyone care haha ... Sorry everyone for boring u guyzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

No wonder

Noticing lately on a few Fashion mag , i see alot of Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford on different Mag, n u get to see more then just them , alot of the pic r of them naked.
Do find it strange, but now i know the answer ( well not really n answer ) .. anyway here is sometime i read..
How do these men expect to sell clothes if they insist on appearing without them at every opportunity?
We were really just kidding when we suggested that Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford were engaged in some sort of competition to see who can show up naked in the most magazines, but as if in response to Ford's cheeky appearance in OUT, here's Marc in the upcoming issue of W ostensibly showing off his new art collection. According to the article, Marc has replaced his substance addictions with obsessive art acquisition, tattooing and, evidently, exhibitionism. Let's just hope this isn't a prelude to some sort of ghastly Thierry Mugler-style body dysmorphic transformation.
Tom, the ball is now in your court...so to speak.
