Best slam dunk contest everrrr
For the past few yr NBA all star game have been boring, to a point where i just give up watchin it, but last yr was the turning point , well in the slam dunk contest at least.
This is slam dunk contest is just turely amazing, right from the word go , Dwight Howard a 7 ft tall player was doin dunk which was humanly impossible , for the first dunk, he bounce the ball off the back of the backboard before jamming it home, then he did the superman dunk, which involve him wearin the outfit n The Magic center redefined the dunk by getting so high above the rack, he actually threw it in. its total madness. gettin up at 9am on sunday was worth it.
Actually what so of my fd may not know , i use to hate football n love basketball , i hate football coz when ever there r peoples palyin football in my sch they will take up the whole sport hall, which leave no rm for us basketball players, but by the time i was 11 or so it totally change, i still love to play basketball but don;t watch much NBA anymore, n for all those who think i m gd at football , actually i m shit at it , coz i spend all my childhood time playin basketball n rugby.

Jeff Koons Book
Jeff Koons hupcoming publications pay homage to the artists overstated aesthetic with proportions that may dwarf some coffee tables with work that dates back to 1979. This in depth biography also looks at the artist and a career retrospective of his work, complete with hundreds of oversized images. Limited to a pressing of 1,600 copies editor Hans Werner Holzwarth has produced some well worth reading.
Since Koons regularly commands millions on the auction circuit, this book will serve as a large-format approximation of his work for contemporary art enthusiasts of more humble means, which is not to say it’s cheap. The “Collector’s Edition” comes in a cloth-covered clamshell box and will be restricted to 1,500 signed copies that go for $1000 each. The “Art Edition” is much the same, but will likely cost considerably more, as it is limited to 100 copies and accompanied by “an artwork." The nature of the work remains unclear, but odds are it won't be a 90-ton puppy statue.

After more than 60 years in the business, Polaroid have announced they will be closing down, having stopped making their signtaure instant camera's last year, and having manufactured enough to last them through to 2009, they have announced they will no longer continue within the market place at this point. I guess this was inevitable given the growth of digital photography and further advances in their technology making them more accessable and instant in their own way, but Polaroid will always be unique and will be sorely missed. I expect with this announcement the amount they expected to last through to the end of next year may not be enough.

WOW
The writer's strike may finally be coming to an end, but not without severe harm to the local economy first.
The strike, which has lasted over 3 months already, has cost the economy $2 Billion.
Two BILLION!
According to the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC), estimates are that a $733 million loss has occurred in production spending and another $1.3 billion came from smaller venues, such as caterers, florists, hotels, restaurants, car services, and many others.
The biggest blow can be felt by dramatic television, which had 46 primetime dramas for broadcast and cable TV that were to be filmed in Los Angeles during the strike.
With each show employing approximately 200 employees, that's over 9,000 people unemployed. And considering that each episode costs an average of $3 million to produce, that's resulted in a loss of $138 million per week in production costs for the economy this year.
Thankfully the strike is 99% over now.
But, don't you wanna know….
Where did those $2 billion go????

What a load of shit!!!!
If you didn't catch the Spice Girls reunion tour during the majority of their dates in the UK or the U.S., then you're fucked!
Though they had promised to go to Asia, South America, Australia and other places, the ladies have now officially announced that they will be ending their run after their last shows in the U.S. this month.
Bummer!

IMPORTANT TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT
Sadly the tour needs to come to an end by the end of February due to family and personal commitments for Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria. It was announced in June that, as well as the Europe and the US, the girls planned to visit Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina. Due to the phenomenal demand for tickets in the UK and the US along with the touring logistics for such a massive production it was not possible to fit everything in. As the girls return to normal family life and the kids go back to school they are reviewing all the options, who knows what the future might bring!
The girls said: “We’ve had such an amazing time over the last 3 months. It’s been incredible being back together and seeing our fans again. We want to thank everyone who came to see us. It was all so mad the first time round, so we’ve really been able to appreciate it properly this time. There have been so many highlights and good times that we know it will be hard to be apart after Toronto. Really sorry if we didn’t get to see you this time round. We all have other commitments in our lives now but who knows what will happen next.”
Its like saying , we don;t care about the rest of the world , we only care about the market in US, n have make enough money , so every other country can fuck off, we will go back n being a loaded bitch that we r.. what a load of shit.. Booooooo
